Today we bring your attention to a clinical case of resolution of an RT2-type gingival recession involving element 31. The anatomical location required the application of the latero-coronal sliding technique (LMCAF).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Three-dimensional Xenomatrix\u00ae<\/sup> collagen matrix<\/strong> was used for root coverage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The latter, made from collagen extracted from tendons of equine origin, promotes blood clot stabilization and provides the optimal substrate for fibroblast adhesion and proliferation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Xenomatrix\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> must be shaped and applied dry and hydrates with blood from the recipient site and can be stabilized with sutures.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At 6-year follow-up, maintenance of excellent root coverage was observed…<\/strong><\/p>\n
