Today we present retrospective clinical results from Dr. Pasquale Santoriello\u2019s Team (Treviso, Italy) involving 118 patients with patellofemoral syndrome who underwent derotation of the tibial tuberosity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Following osteotomy, a heterologous collagen-preserved bone graft with a special dihedral wedge shape (Osteoplant\u00ae, OSP-07A, Cancellous Dihedron<\/strong>) was used to impart derotation to the tibial tuberosity, restoring the correct alignment of the quadriceps tendon, patella and patellar tendon.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Osteoplant\u00ae<\/strong> is a bone graft made biocompatible through the Zymo-Teck\u00ae<\/strong> process, which through the use of specific enzymes allows for the removal of antigens and optimal preservation of the extracellular matrix without altering its structural characteristics.<\/p>\n
