{"id":14220,"date":"2026-06-08T08:44:33","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T07:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bioteckacademy.com\/confronto-in-vivo-tra-innesti-ossei-di-origine-equina-e-tessuto-autologo\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T08:49:38","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T07:49:38","slug":"in-vivo-comparison-of-equine-bone-grafts-and-autologous-tissue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bioteckacademy.com\/en\/in-vivo-comparison-of-equine-bone-grafts-and-autologous-tissue\/","title":{"rendered":"In vivo Comparison of Equine Bone Grafts and Autologous Tissue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we present the results of a study published in 2018 that analyzed the kinetics of bone remodeling in an animal model, comparing spontaneous healing with the use of autologous bone and with the use of biomaterials of equine origin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe latter consisted of a 1:1 mixture of cancellous and cortical granules (Bio-Gen\u00ae Mix Granules, Bioteck) measuring 0.25\u20131 mm, obtained through the exclusive Zymo-Teck\u00ae enzymatic process, capable of completely removing antigenic components without applying high temperatures or using organic solvents. In each group, the Biocollagen\u00ae membrane\u2014resorbable and easy to handle, composed of type I collagen derived from horses\u2014was used.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the procedure, the researchers monitored new bone formation for 8 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The new bone density increased in all groups, but with the equine substitutes, the improvement was evident as early as 2 weeks.
