{"id":9302,"date":"2023-09-20T17:00:21","date_gmt":"2023-09-20T16:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bioteckacademy.com\/?p=9302"},"modified":"2023-09-20T17:00:21","modified_gmt":"2023-09-20T16:00:21","slug":"new-collagen-hydrogel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bioteckacademy.com\/en\/new-collagen-hydrogel\/","title":{"rendered":"Use of a new collagen hydrogel to promote healing of periodontal pockets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we present a case report published in Perio Tribune Italia magazine, in which the new collagen hydrogel in syringe H42<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> is used to treat 4 periodontal pockets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nH42\u00ae is applied in the <strong>non-surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant pockets<\/strong> following mechanical plaque removal therapy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nIts purpose is to <strong>seal the pocket, prevent re-infection and promote natural healing of the gingival tissue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nDue to its unique composition of <strong>type I collagen, resorbable polymers and ancillary amounts of vitamin C<\/strong>, H42<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> has an optimal rheology that allows it to adapt to the geometry of any pocket.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nClinical results show how H42<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> acts by reducing pocket depth and promoting soft tissue healing.
