The use of enzymatically deantigenated equine bone granules together with Flex Cortical Sheet in the Multi Layer Technique.

The case describes an implant surgery on element 11 using the Multi-Layer Technique, which involves the removal of a tooth element in the esthetic zone, its replacement with an implant, insertion of the cortical sheet in the buccal zone at the extraction site, and the conclusion of the surgery with the insertion of biomaterial between the implant and the sheet and possibly a buccal connective graft to the sheet where the periodontal biotype was thin. The utility of cortical bone laminae has been demonstrated for years now, and this case report demonstrates the efficacy of using this device in the esthetic area that allowed for targeted and minimal intervention in the resolution of a late complication related to the fracture of a tooth element previously treated with apicoectomy.

PRODUCTS USED: Osteoxenon Granules Mix, Flex Cortical Sheet OSP-OX09
