Angelo Comanzo

Dr. Angelo Comanzo graduated in 2009 in Biological Sciences from the University of RomaTre and in 2015 in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics cum laude from the University of Foggia, with an Experimental Thesis in Oral Surgery entitled “Computer-Guided Implantology: Indications. Procedures and Perspectives.” While still a student, he follows in 2013 the Department of Oral Surgery and Pathology at the Stomoloski Fakultet of the University of Belgrade (Serbia), and in 2015 he completes the pre-degree educational internship at the Universitat de la Cataluna, Facultad De Odontologia in Barcelona (Spain) with the highest grade.
In 2016, he attended the annual theoretical-practical course in Implant Surgery at the dental office of A. Magliano, in Cava de Tirreni (Salerno) with Dr. A. Magliano, Dr. F. Cirillo and Dr. M. Celi; in 2018, the theoretical-practical course in Maxillary Sinus Reach and GBR at Falmed of Dr. A. Falco, in Pescara; in the same year he performs the course of Anatomical Dissection of the Maxillofacial District at the University Claude Bernard Lyon1 (Lyon, France) with Prof. Guerino Caso and Prof. Gianni Gaeta; in 2019 he attends further courses in Plastic Periodontal Surgery for the treatment of gingival recessions on teeth and implants.
A member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO), in 2021 he attends IAO’s annual “How to do it” training for dentistry and the theoretical-practical course on Fixed Prosthetics on natural teeth and implants with Prof. E. Bruna. Since 2022, he has been enrolled in the annual periodontal and peri-implant soft tissue surgery course with Prof. G. Zucchelli at Zucchelli Institute, Bologna.
Freelancer in Ariano Irpino (Avellino) and consultant in other practices, he is involved in daily clinical practice in Implantology and Resective and Regenerative Periodontology. He also focuses his research in oral surgery on the maintenance and regeneration of alveolar volumes of the maxillae with horizontal and vertical bone augmentation techniques.
