The sheet summarizes the results of a retrospective study describing the learning curve of a neurosurgeon over 99 MI-TLIF procedures, using an equine derived and enzymatically deantigenated bone graft to promote spinal fusion, in association with an interbody fusion cage. The patients were suffering from one of the following pathologies: degenerative spondylolisthesis, disc disease, segmental instability. In applying the technique, using a bone graft with adequate mechanical features proves crucial, so as to allow the space created following removal of the damaged disc to be recovered, and thus promote fusion of the vertebrae.
