The case involved a patient often suffering of abscesses at the level of element 12. Having already undergone an apicectomy, it was therefore decided to proceed with extraction of the tooth element and its replacement with immediate provisional implantation. On preoperative radiological diagnostics, in addition to the results of the previous apicectomy, vestibular bone fenestration was noted. Therefore, it was decided to resort to the simultaneous use of guided bone regeneration techniques using a slow-resorbing equine bone graft associated with a pericardial membrane and a connective tissue graft.
