The clinical case involved a male patient (52 aa) with no history of systemic disease and suffering from stage 4, grade B periodontal disease. The right upper lateral incisor had severe mobility (grade III). Element extraction and subsequent type 2 implant rehabilitation was necessary. After 4 weeks of healing, the implant was placed. The exposed coils were covered with some enzymatically deantigenated bone graft along with autologous bone. The graft was protected with a collagen membrane. Subsequent follow-ups at 18 months showed excellent volumetric maintenance and proper soft tissue restoration.
