THE AWAYR PERFUSION SYSTEM: BIOLOGICAL VALIDATION

Validation of the Awayr system was performed through physical as well as biological studies. The purpose of this sheet is to describe how Awayr was validated from the biological point of view. The experiment consisted in imbibing by immersion or perfuse, by using Awayr, a bone graft (OsteoplantFlex, Bioteck) with a cellular suspension. The distribution and quantity of cells within the graft was then assessed in the two conditions.
