Background: The management of an oblique sinus floor presents unique challenges in implant dentistry. This case report highlights the successful use of threaded bone expanders and bovine bone graft in management this specific clinical case. Case report: We discuss a case of an oblique sinus floor that was managed with the transalveolar sinus lift approach using threaded bone expanders and allogeneic bone graft materials. Threaded bone expanders offer several advantages in sinus floor elevation procedures, including controlled and gradual sinus membrane dissection, which can help minimize the risk of sinus membrane perforation. In combination with threaded bone expanders, the use of bovine bone graft provides an excellent osteoconductive scaffold for new bone formation. Conclusion: This case report demonstrates the efficacy of threaded bone expanders and bovine bone graft in managing an oblique sinus floor, providing valuable insights for clinicians facing similar challenges in implant dentistry.
