OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF PSEUDOARTROSIS OF LONG BONES WITH BONE SUBSTITUTES AND PRP

The authors report their experience on the use of bone substitutes in association with the use of PRP in the treatment of aseptic pseudarthrosis.

The role of primary fracture stabilization and the main inductive stimulus provided by biological support in biologically active atrophic forms should be emphasized for healing purposes. The importance of the correct patient classification and pseudarthrosis is reiterated. Three significant cases of pseudarthrosis are described, extrapolated from those treated from 2010 to 2013 at P.O. Piedimonte Matese.
