Dr. Leonida has experience ranging from basic research in laboratory (adult mesenchymal stem cells) that has allowed him to develop new cutting-edge clinical protocols (Xenomatrix) in the field of tissue regeneration, both periodontal, to combat periodontal disease (once known as pyorrhoea, i.e. the progressive loss of supporting tissue and subsequently of the tooth itself) and in bone atrophies (the progressive deficit of bone tissue after the loss of the tooth element).
