IMMEDIATE POST-EXTRACTION IMPLANT ASSOCIATED TO SOCKET PRESERVATION

The sheet summarizes the case of a patient with a compromised tooth 1.6 because of a coronal fracture. The agreed rehabilitation plan involved the removal of the tooth and immediate implant insertion, and a concomitant peri-implant bone regeneration procedure. The procedure was performed thanks to the use of a bone substitute paste (Activabone Moldable Paste, Bioteck) and of a three-dimensional collagen matrix (Xenomatrix, Bioteck). The clinical examination showed the preservation of the bone ridge and the integration of the biomaterial. An X-ray analysis was performed six months after the procedure, which allowed the assessment of the preservation of the peri-implant levels.
