A new generation bone paste to restore the alveolar process

After tooth avulsion, the alveolar process undergoes resorption. This may be limited by grafting sockets according to the ridge preservation principles. Grafting materials should display proper biological properties and optimal handling. Bone pastes may facilitate grafting, avoid granules dispersion, and maximize graft contact with the surrounding bone. A novel equine bone paste has been recently introduced. At present, its use has never been documented in the medical literature.
