Use of a new collagen hydrogel in the treatment of peri-implant pockets: a case series

Today we present a case series published on the journal “Hygiene Tribune” in the issue of July, about 10 patients with peri-implant pockets treated with H42^®, the new collagen hydrogel in syringe from Bioteck.

 

H42® is applied in the non-surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant pockets following mechanical cleaning of the site.

 

Even in cases of peri-implantitis, H42^® works by sealing the pocket, preventing re-infection while promoting natural healing of the gingival tissues, that, if needed, will be ready for a surgical approach.

 

Due to its unique composition of type I collagen, resorbable polymers and ancillary amounts of vitamin C, H42^® has an optimal rheology that allows it to adapt to the geometry of any pocket.

 

The results of the Case series show that H42^® reduces pocket depth and accelerates soft tissue healing even in highly inflamed sites…
