Clinical case with total remodeling equine bone and equine pericardium membrane

The present clinical case involves the use of pre-hydrated equine-derived cortico-spongious granules in syringe (Osteoxenon^® Mix Gel, Bioteck Spa) in combination with natural equine-derived pericardium membrane (Heart^® pericardium membrane, Bioteck Spa) in an alveolar ridge preservation surgery.

 

Osteoxenon^® granules in syringe and Heart^® pericardium membrane are obtained by the unique Zymo-Teck^® enzymatic deantigenation process.

 

Such exclusive manufacturing process allows preserving the collagen and mineral component in native conformation in the bone granules, while it maintains the mechanical strength and medium to long protection time (3-4 months) features of the Heart^® pericardium membrane.

 

At 6 months after regeneration, an optimal amount of newly formed bone and excellent soft tissue healing was observed…
