Connective tissue and three-dimensional collagen matrix for the resolution of multiple RT1-type gingival recessions
Today we bring your attention to a clinical case of a 41-year-old patient who was suffering from multiple RT1-type gingival recessions in the esthetic area.
The three-dimensional collagen matrix Xenomatrix® was used for root coverage.
The latter, made from collagen extracted from tendons of equine origin, promotes blood clot stabilization and provides the optimal substrate for fibroblast adhesion and proliferation.
Xenomatrix® must be shaped and applied dry, hydrates with blood from the recipient site, and can be stabilized with sutures.
