Osteoxenon® bone graft is produced through the Zymo-Teck® enzymatic process, which preserves the mineral component and collagen in native form. It is recognized physiologically by cells devoted to bone regeneration and it is completely remodeled with the patient’s own bone.
This is particularly relevant in prosthetic rehabilitations, where it is definitely an advantage to have an implant completely surrounded by the patient’s bone, rather than a biomaterial.
