The sheet summarizes the case of a 47-year- old patient who presented with impaired teeth 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8. The three teeth were extracted atraumatically and the sockets were cleaned from fibrous tissue residues. The graft was performed using Activabone Moldable Paste: the bone paste was extruded directly above the post- extraction sites then pushed within and molded with blunt instruments to achieve optimal contact with the walls of the alveoli. The grafted sites were protected using a resorbable collagen membrane (Biocollagen, Bioteck). After 3.5 months from the regenerative surgery, the X-ray appearance of the graft pointed to a degree of remodeling compatible with implant insertion. The histologic analysis made it possible to observe a significant newly formed bone structure, whereas no signs of inflammation were noted. In conclusion, the bone substitute used made it possible to obtain effective regeneration of the alveolar process both in clinical and histologic terms.
